To provide you with seamless social networking, nearby user discovery, and real-time audio/video communication, we collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Account & Profile Information: Display name/username, gender, birth date/age, bio, sexual preferences, interests, and profile pictures you upload.
• User Communications: Direct text messages, audio notes, media files, and emojis exchanged with other users. Direct messages are encrypted in transit.
• Customer Support & Inquiries: Communications and email correspondence when you contact our support desk or report an issue.

B. Location Data (Nearby Discovery)

With your explicit device permission, we collect your approximate or precise geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) to calculate proximity distance and connect you with nearby users. We do not share your exact physical street address or real-time live GPS tracker with other users. Only approximate distance (e.g., "within 2 km") is displayed.

C. Device & Technical Information

• Device Specifications: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (UUID), network carrier, IP address, and application version.
• Usage Logs: Login timestamps, app crash analytics, feature interactions, and connection diagnostics.

D. Subscriptions & Payment Information

All in-app purchases and VIP subscriptions (1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Months VIP) are processed directly and securely through official platform billing providers (Google Play Store Billing or Apple In-App Purchases). WT Chat does not receive, collect, or store your credit/debit card numbers or bank account credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information strictly for the following legitimate purposes:

• Creating, maintaining, and authenticating your user account.
• Powering nearby search, discover feed, and friend recommendation algorithms.
• Facilitating real-time text chats, voice calls, and video calls with optimal latency.
• Delivering push notifications regarding new messages, friend requests, likes, and subscription status.
• Enforcing our Terms of Use, detecting fraud, blocking spam bots, and preventing abuse.
• Complying with applicable legal obligations and assisting law enforcement when formally required.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal information to third-party advertisers. Information may be shared only with essential infrastructure partners under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Real-Time Media & Streaming: Agora RTC SDK for low-latency, encrypted voice and video calls.
• Cloud & Push Notifications: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for reliable notification delivery and crash diagnostics.
• In-App Billing: Google Play Billing API for handling VIP subscription entitlements.
• Legal Compliance: Competent judicial or law enforcement authorities where required by subpoena, court order, or applicable child safety reporting laws.

5. Your Privacy Controls & Account Deletion

We provide full control over your privacy and data directly within the app:

• Hide My Location: Hides your distance and profile from nearby discovery radars.
• Hide Last Seen: Hides your online/offline timestamp status.
• Read Receipts: Toggle message read indicators on or off.
• Instant Account & Data Deletion: You can permanently delete your account at any time by navigating to Settings → Delete Account. Upon confirmation, your profile, messages, uploaded media, matches, and cache are irreversibly wiped from our active databases.

6. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards (including TLS/SSL transport encryption and AES-256 database hashing) to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. We retain data only for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill legal and anti-abuse obligations.
